TSM Holiday Gift Guide 2025

Your dispatch from Mount Desert Island, Maine.
Let’s get into it. TSM’s hand picked and curated guide to gifting this holiday season.

Pay Me Like a White Man Sweatshirt, $48.89— I gave these to my two younger sisters last year. It was a huge hit. I wear mine when I’m traveling to make men on airplanes uncomfortable.

Gap Faux Fur Hat, $24 (Originally $49.95, 50% off)--- I love this in chocolate brown.

Salomon Speed Cross 6 Trail Running Sneakers, $145—
I think I’ve discovered that mens sneakers have all the best colors and design. These are mens sneakers, but you just size down two sizes, thats the trick. I love these. Excellent for trail hiking, running, walking. Very good support and kind of chic in a weird, space alien way.

Loeffler Randall Agnes Western Boot, $495

Summersalt Cashmere Joggers, $63 (originally $85)

LouLou Studio Wool and Cashmere Blend Jacket, $252 (originally $720, 65% off)--- I love LouLou Studio. They make excellent, high quality sweaters, and this jacket is to die for! I love shopping on The Outnet, big discounts on luxury pieces like this one.

By Malene Birger Fringed Wool Coat, $1,365— Every Gift Guide needs a few big ticket items, this one's mine! I love By Malene Birger. Scandinavian design at its best.

Hommey Robe, $129

Hermes Dupe $59.99— I used to work in fashion, and this dupe is a GREAT one.
It even has the little metal feet on the bottom of the bag to keep the
“leather” from touching the ground. A great touch.
I have it in pebble grey and fancy ladies always
exclaim “Business must be great!” Little do they know, it's a $60 bag—

COS Suede Tote Bag, $259

Bembien Mini Chéri, $295

Beaded Ear Cuff, $60— I love an ear cuff. I think they’re so chic.
This one is nice and chunky but the platinum color
prevents it
from being gaudy.

Kenneth Jay Lane Peridot and Pearl Drop Earrings, $100

Jennifer Behr Blue Crystal Earrings, $150

Migonne Gavigan Arlet Earrings, $165

Clothing, Shoes, Accessories

Books

Your Cabin in the Woods by Conrad Meinecke, $16.15— Come for the cover, stay for the inside. For anyone who loves and romanticizes rural, rustic living, this is an excellent choice. I have a copy on our coffee table because the cover makes me so happy.

A Year in Story and Song by Lia Leendertz, $12.76— A month by month guide for living beautifully and gratefully, season by season. A personal favorite of mine.

What Paintings Say by Taschen, $20

Tender, by Nigel Slater, $48.32– The book and the author who taught me how to love food. An essential for anyone who loves to cook and eat.

An Illustrated Catalog of American Fruits and Nuts, $50

TSM Under $50

Chocolate fudge sauce, $22— Made with Dutch processed cocoa (the good stuff), salted butter, heavy cream….and finished with a sprinkle of sea salt. I would freak out if someone wrapped a big red ribbon around a jar of this and gave it to me. You can find me standing in front of the fridge eating this with a spoon.

Saul’s Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits, $10— How chic would it be to gift these to someone who loves their dog? The card basically writes itself “For Rufus! Made on an island in Maine with organic peanut butter and flour. Merry Merry! Xx”

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls (pack of 6), $30— We are lowkey a little famous for these chocolate chip cookies. This is a pack of six cookie dough balls, vac packed for freshness, packaged with shipping in mind. Simple instructions are included.

Hot Squeeze, $11

Shelton Farms Maple Syrup, $35— Tapped and distilled on the island. It’s like you think you’ve had maple syrup, and then you try this stuff and you realize you’ve never really had real maple syrup.

Hunter’s Beach Soap, $15

Saint Rita Parlor Perfum, $50 (5 mL)--- I wear this everyday. Handmade by Saint Rita Parlor in Los Angeles, California. This is for the “Cool Person” in your life.

Serena San Marcos Organic Lavender Spray, $20— I’m bias, because it’s my family who grows and distills this lavender oil, but oh my goodness is it incredible. I spray it all over my linens, furniture. I keep one in my bag for a reset/refresh when I need one.

Mantis Medicinals Body Oil, $24– This stuff is truly magical. I mix a drop or two in my body moisturizer every evening.

Beauty, Etc.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Milky Lotion 140ml, $20— I am completely obsessed. It is THE winter skin product.

Dr. Dennis Gross LED Face Mask, $364 (originally $455)— I use this every day. I love it and consistently see results in my overall skin health.

Pat McGrath Labs Mega Lip Pencil, $29— I love this. I have it in two colors: Elson 6 and Divine Rose. The texture is what does it for me, its light, creamy and matte while giving lots of gorgeous color that isn't too obvious. I like to apply it as a lipstick and add some Aquaphor on top to give it a bit of a blurred, disheveled look.

Violette FR Plume Lip, $31— Another favorite lip product. I use this very lightly in the color Syrah Fume. It’s got a gorgeous blurring effect that I just love. Effortless, not perfect.

Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek Stain, $26— Lasts FOREVER! It’s definitely bright, but just mute it with a little setting powder. I have it in Fresh and Splash.

Chanel Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream, $60— Ugh. It’s so expensive but so good. I haven't found anything else like it. At 35, I would be THRILLED to get this as a gift. $60 make up is a luxurious treat!

K18 Leave in Mask, $75— A game changer if you have coarse, dry leaning hair.

Misc.

Vintage Wedgwood China, Set for 5, $159.95— I find this cream colored vintage Wedgwood China impossible chic. I love the designs on the edges of the plates.

Audubon Watercolors 2026 Wall Calendar, $15.99— Absolutely beautiful. I always have wall calendars in our kitchen; it’s something my mom did, so now I do it. I want this one in my stocking this year.

Vitruvi Cloud Humidifier, $229— A very good humidifier. Essential for winter months.

Cozy Earth Striped Bath Towel Set, $135.20 (originally $208)

Venchi Holiday Box of Chocolates, $55

8 oz. Moroccan Glassware, $45

Pleated lampshade, $70— I’ve swapped most of my lampshades for this pleated one! I love it so much. I also have one in cream. It casts a lovely, soft light.

Francis Palmer Earthenware Vase, $345— I have always, ALWAYS wanted a Francis Palmer vase.
It is on my Christmas wishlist.

Travertine Incense Burner, $94— I’m a huge incense lover. This one looks so cool.

2MODERN Clarinette French Press, $65

Loewe’s Beetroot Scented Candle, $150– In the shape of the candle in a candlestick. I want it.

Trudon Classique Fir Scented Candle, $160

Garnet Hill Dream Quilt, $169 (25% NOW!)--- I have one, I guard it very preciously. It’s such a beautiful piece of classic bedding for when you're all grown up and need things like “bedding” as opposed to just a duvet and a fitted sheet.

Knapping Press Hand Painted and Printed Prints, $21— I love these. I have several and pop them in small frames or double up and put them side by side in larger frames.

NY Times Cooking Page A Day 2026 Calendar, $16.73
